Research & Development Services
R&D includes advanced testing and bench scale equipment to support and guide the students and faculty research technologists. Interdisciplinary teams from across the university examine different aspects of water issues, using a combination of fieldwork, lab work, computer simulation, and intellectual discourse.
The combination of research and practical problem solving within the DGL allows the society to develop innovative research methods to be rapidly implemented in the water and waste water planning and management. Much ofthe work has been directed at assessing the environmental water quantity the work has been directed at assessing the environmental water quantity and
quality requirements of drinking water plants and waste water plants. Laboratory chemists perform analysis and give cost effective solution on remedies for removal of contaminants from water and remediation of other adverse conditions. Students working in the laboratory gain valuable experience in water quality research. To name a few, our R &D also include recent advances in phytomedicine, bioenergy, synthetic biology, genomics, proteomics, bioinformatics and nanotechnology.
Moreover through its great invention, Dr. Ghosh Laboratories has formulated many GB phytomedicines and established the Genergy kits for disinfection and various other environmental testing purposes.
